Ruislip RFC Min’s is one of the largest mini’s sections in West London, with almost 200 players - both girls and boys. Our mini’s section is based on the principles of player centred, development driven and competition supported coaching and playing with the wants and needs of young people at its heart.
Our mini’s teams are:
U6, U7 and U8 - tag rugby
U9 - U12 - tackle rugby
We train every Sunday morning from 10am, usually finishing around 12 noon. We take part in up to 3 rugby festivals a year, and often travel within Middlesex to take part in joint training sessions with other local clubs. We hold a very successful mini’s tour every year over May bank holiday weekend, usually travelling with coaches, parents and players to Burnham on Sea.
Our coaches are all parents of children in the teams, with many parents actively involved in both the men and women’s senior teams at the club.
We thrive on the community element of our rugby - ensuring that all players and parents are welcome. We recognise the importance of the volunteer, and we know that all of our volunteers - from coaches to team managers - are passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive community for our young people.
