Ruislip Rubies are a group of girls/young women that cover multiple age groups. We have the under 12s for girls aged 11 and 12, the under 14s for girls aged 13 and 14, the Under 16s for girls aged 15 and 16, and lastly the under 18s covering young women aged 17 and 18.
Since starting around 5 years ago, we have seen many of our girls selected for the Middlesex development schemes, which is testament to all the hard work put in by all the players and the coaching team.
The club has hosted a couple of recruitment events over the last couple of months and the coaching team is also expanding, this is mainly due to the excellent support of the Ruislip Women’s team. It helps with the variety of coaching styles, as well as the transition into the Senior game, if the girls know a familiar face and have someone to take them under their wing.
That’s the beauty of rugby at Ruislip for girls and women, we are friends, family, and yet not afraid to put in the hard work and amazing tackles!
We welcome all players, from seasoned players, to someone that just wants to try out for the first time; the team will go at your pace and you will have a lot of fun!
